Jean graduated from Cardiff University and was called to the Bar of England and Wales at Middle Temple in March 2019. Whilst studying for the Bar Professional Training Course in Cardiff, Jean had the opportunity to marshal a District Court Judge and in doing so gained an insight into the workings of the judiciary.
Upon returning to Malaysia, she undertook her pupillage in Peter Ling & Co and was then retained by said firm upon her call to the Bar in March 2021.
Jean is also an active member of the Malaysian Bar and serves under the Kuala Lumpur Bar Pupils Committee. Jean has also assisted Lai Chee Hoe in preparing his book on Strata Management Practice & Procedure during her time at the firm as an intern and paralegal.
